I thought that with today’s progressive society, gum soles would eventually be replaced with a more sophisticated and futuristic material.  But more and more releases use the gum sole as a main feature. One example is the Air Jordan Flight 45 High. The shoe gets its depth from the contrast of the perforated sections against its patent leather and shiny midsole. There are hints of brown on the tongue and heel logos so they can match the soles. I would not bring this to a street game, maybe in a hard court. The rumored release date might be sometime Easter.

The original Nike Air Diamond Turf was released in 1993. It was ahead of its time with the outrageous designs. They released it again in 2004 and now Nike will do it again. The plan is to release it in its OG colourway. What I love about this is the swoosh at the strap. It looked great on my jeans when I was wearing back in 93. For those people who wants to reminisce or for the young ones who were toddlers when they released this, you need to wait a bit for it since the rumored release date is Fall 2010.

When they released the new Air Griffey Max 1 last year, everyone wanted to get one. The Cincinnati Red-inspired Air Griffey Max was a hit on its own. Many clamored for a re release and here it is. They stayed true with the original concept but changed all the red into black which made this a dark rendition of the original. The previously white “24†now is also black. They still have the visible Air pockets and the jagged design. The more sophisticated Air Griffey Max will be a sure hit like the first one, whether you’re a Ken Griffey fan or not.

They finally decided on the release of the Air Jordan Motorsports VI and Six Rings. We really went nuts seeing these pair and want to get our hands on it the minute they announced it. The Jordan brand really prepared for this pair and their racing team. They also released that they will be expanding the use of these kicks from steering through multi-G-Force corners to a more streetwise approach. The Air Jordan Motorsports VI will be released on February 6 and Six Rings will be released on March 6. I can almost see the lines. Quick, camp out now!

You have to check out the latest Nike Air Max 97. You think Nike has brought out the weird but cool, think again. At first glance you thought that this has nothing special on it. Think again. Looking at it at the right angle and at the right lighting, it will show you why it’s calls the Nike Air Max “Snakeskinâ€. Everything shines and glitters that looks like scales. The metallic silver scales makes the shoe look like a snake gliding through grass. It is really cool especially when you wear it at night time. It is not released in the US but Europe sneaker heads can already get them.
