Nike Air Max 95 celebrates their fifteenth anniversary this 2010, and they’re dropping some cool sneakers. Here are two colorways recently released, the Nike Air Max 95 “Grape” and “Obsidian/Meteor Blue”. The Grape features a darkening fade from the mid sole to the tongue with accents of purple and teal. Inspired from the famous Hamptons vacation destination in the East Cost, Nike Sportswear created the Air Force 1 for the place of attraction. In their words,
“…Nike Sportswear brings you yet another release for Long Island, this time for the Hamptons. Fashioned in all white calfskin with perforated detailing, the Air Force 1 x Hamptons was inspired by the most classic color of the season and the events created in its honor. With the signature laurel leaf H crest embroidered on the tongue tab, the foot bed of the left and right shoe reads, Good Ground, signifying the original name given to the area when once populated by native communities. The Air Force 1 x Hamptons is then finished off with a transparent gel sole that reveals a graphic of the silhouette of Long Island. By taking a Nike Sportswear icon and twisting it through design, the Air Force 1 x Hamptons becomes more than a mark of style, but an emblem of the community.”
